Cancer Healing
This was a powerful journey that led to a healing for a friend who had cancer. During the shamanic journey, I visited a spirit council of Native American chiefs. Each chief was from a different tribe and represented the wisest of wise. I was invited to sit with them and smoke a pipe, which went around the circle several times before the leader spoke and asked me why I was there. I asked for the healing for my friend. The pipe was passed again and finally he spoke again and asked why they should grant my request and what had my friend done to deserve it. Truthfully, I didn’t have an answer. I finally responded that I wanted the healing just because I asked. There was a lesson here... none of us has done anything truly worthwhile. It’s our true essence, our spirit, that is deserving, just as it is. The leader considered my answer and agreed to do the healing.

He took a crystal, which he said represented ice, and like water that changes to ice when frozen, he would transform the cancer into a harmless substance of lymph fluid. He passed the crystal over her breast and under her arm where the lumps were. He continued with his message... he reminded me of how I had escaped from winter by moving from Michigan to Florida, but that everything has its place. Winter can cause some things to die, others to hide away, while many endure the hardship. But in the spring, the new branches grow, the babies are born, and a new cycle begins. I must learn that everything is good, even those things I considered “undesirable.” Everything offers a lesson, everything transforms. One day our body will die, but our spirit will live on. It will adjust to a new life without this physical shell... it will transform.

I called my friend the next day to let her know I had journeyed for her, but she responded that she already knew. I asked how she knew, since I hadn’t told her when I would journey. She said she had felt a presence come into her house. After making sure that there wasn’t an intruder, she accepted that I must be journeying for her and relaxed, letting the spirits work on her. She said she felt their touch and presence — even weeks later. This was a tremendous relief to her, because her mother and two aunts had died of cancer.

She went in for a MRI scan a week later, the lumps appeared to be solid and a biopsy was ordered. One week later on the day of the biopsy, another MRI scan was performed... but the lumps had changed. The doctor said they now appeared to liquid filled instead of solid and that the biopsy was now optional. But since everyone was there, they decided to go ahead with the biopsy. The results? Lymph fluid!

Divine Intervention
I was teaching a shamanic journeying class, when I performed a shamanic healing for one of my students who was concerned about her difficult marriage. During the shamanic healing, I requested to see what their life was like together and saw them sitting in the living room – each in their own seat. There didn’t appear to be anything out of the ordinary, so I requested to see how she would be without her husband. Three spirits came in and escorted his spirit away.

Then visions appeared, and I saw them getting married (although they were already married), and the husband looked like the beast from “Beauty and the Beast,” which was odd. I then saw them having romantic interludes with bubble baths, champagne and pearls.

When the healing was over, I described the visions, but they didn’t make much sense to either of us at the time.

The student called me several days later, because she had to tell me what had transpired since the healing. She said the night after our class, her husband woke her up in the middle of the night, hugging her and sobbing how much he loved her, and that he wanted to renew their marriage vows! He said three spirits had come to him. The spirits of the past, present and future had showed him his entire life and told him the importance of their marriage in his life and spiritual growth. His complete transformation led to renewing their love and passion for each other. Yet, the student had not told her husband any details of the healing that occured during the shamanic lesson.

This healing was not a typical response. Her husband’s healing was an inadvertent result of the healing for my student. Sometimes there is divine intervention!

Emotional Healing
A client called me for a healing for her son. He had become very angry and introverted at around age 12 for no apparent reason. Over a decade of therapy and medical treatments had produced no improvements and made her son leery of having any more treatments. He had no friends, and was depressed and suicidal, but didn’t understand why he felt this way.

I asked my power animal to take me to the most appropriate realm for the healing, since no one knew exactly what was wrong with him. I was taken to a past life where I saw him walking along the road as a young boy carrying water. A band of rebels came around the bend in an truck and stopped to torment him. They started beating him and then spearing him with sticks until he was dead. It was a senseless death at the hands of cruel men.

I was then taken to his current life’s spirit and saw that his energetic body had not fully developed. It was only large enough for the boy that he had been in the previous lifetime, and had left most of his upper body exposed and vulnerable to negative energy.

I went back to his previous life to have the events altered. He still died along the road that day. Only this time he was hit by a car in an accident. The driver held him, sobbing how sorry he was as the boy died. The death was tragic, but not cruel, and left no hard feelings that carried over to his next life. This cut the ties between the two lives.

Then in another realm, the spirit guides removed his useless energetic body and created a new one that fully covered him. They also established that two angels would stand guard over him for protection to help him face the world that he had been avoiding.

Although I had not told his mother exactly when I would be performing the healing, she knew. According to his mother, her son called her that evening for no reason other then to talk, and they had a lengthy conversation. It was the first time he had done that. He has progressed steadily each day and has since become well-adjusted, is making friends and establishing a loving relationship with his family.

These are examples of dramatic healings. Every shamanic healing is unique and the results vary.
